Rosemount has gone 8-2 against Eagan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Irish are taking a road trip to challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Rosemount is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Rosemount lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lakeville North, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Irish blew past the Panthers 21-0 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Irish's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Panthers are ranked 180th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Eagan challenged Farmington on Friday. The Wildcats had just enough and edged out the Tigers 13-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since September 19, 2024.

Rosemount's record now sits at 5-1. As for Eagan, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Things could have been worse for Rosemount, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 29-14 loss to Eagan in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Irish avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
