Volleyball Game Preview: East Troy Trojans vs. Lake Mills L-Cats

The East Troy Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Lake Mills L-Cats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Troy will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

East Troy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Whitewater with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Trojans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).

East Troy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Whitewater to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Lake Mills came up short against Waterloo on Saturday and fell 2-0.

East Troy will have to contain Tayte Crenshaw as she made an impact in Lake Mills' last game. She had five digs and two aces.

East Troy's win bumped their record up to 21-17. As for Lake Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9.

East Troy was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Mills when the teams last played back in September of 2022, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
