Basketball Recap: Biggs Piles Up the Points Against Princeton

Biggs lost to Princeton back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Biggs Wolverines claimed a resounding 74-44 victory over the Princeton Eagles. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Biggs was led to victory by Brady Smith and Skyler Long. Smith dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards, while Long dropped a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds. That's the most points Smith has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hunter Seipert, who posted 13 points.

Biggs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The win (which was Biggs' third in a row) raised their record to 12-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Princeton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Biggs will welcome Quincy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Biggs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.4 points per game this season. Princeton has already played their next game (against Loyalton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
