Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Academy Comes Up Short

New Life Christian Academy lost against Berean Baptist Academy on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Monarchs took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 70-16. The Monarchs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-11.

Caleb Gibson and John Thomas certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Gibson posted four points, while Thomas earned no points.

New Life Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Berean Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alpha Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Monarchs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Berean Baptist Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Oak City Prep at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
