Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kade Milleville and Benjamin Roedl

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 60-41 bruising from the Tuscola Warriors. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in February.

Despite the defeat, Altamont had strong showings from Benjamin Roedl, who posted 11 points and six rebounds, and Kade Milleville, who earned 18 points. The match was Milleville's third in a row with at least ten points.

Altamont's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Tuscola, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Altamont and New Athens will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. New Athens knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Altamont likes a good challenge. As for Tuscola, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 78-39 victory against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] on the 21st.
