Soccer Game Preview: Orthopaedic vs. Aspire Ollin

The Orthopaedic Vipers are taking a road trip to face off against the Aspire Ollin Jaguars at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.

Orthopaedic fell victim to Animo Bunche and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Aspire Ollin waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victor by a 13-3 margin over the Jaguars. Aspire Ollin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Central City Value from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Katelyn Sanchez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for six goals all by herself.

Aspire Ollin's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those three contests. As for Orthopaedic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5-1.

Orthopaedic might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Aspire Ollin in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can Orthopaedic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
