Soccer Recap: Knightdale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Knightdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Franklinton Red Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Franklinton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in September.

Knightdale's goal came courtesy of Steven Martinez, who's now up to six this season.

Knightdale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Franklinton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Knightdale didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Vance County on the 13th. As for Franklinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Heritage on the 13th.
