Football Game Preview: East Bakersfield Blades vs. North Stars + How To Watch

East Bakersfield hasn't had much luck against North recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Blades will venture away from home to challenge the Stars at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

East Bakersfield took a 20-point loss the last time they faced off against South, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Blades made off with a 14-13 victory over the Spartans.

Meanwhile, North entered their tilt with Tehachapi on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 23-10 win over the Warriors.

East Bakersfield better keep an eye on Mika Lencioni. He was instrumental in North's win, picking up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown. Lencioni was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 55 yards.

North's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for East Bakersfield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

East Bakersfield couldn't quite get it done against North in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 14-6. Can the Blades avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
