While Turner Ashby's victory against East Rockingham wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Eagles 3-2. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Turner Ashby was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-22, 13-25, 25-14, 15-6.

Despite the loss, East Rockingham still got an impressive performance from Kelsey Hatton, who had 28 digs and three aces. Hatton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Savannah Davis, who had 12 digs.

Turner Ashby's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for East Rockingham, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.
