Volleyball Recap: Seneca Falls Despite Big Games from Olivia Haase and Emma Darnell

Seneca suffered their biggest defeat since October 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Jasper Eagles. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-19.

Seneca's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Emma Darnell, who had ten digs and three aces, and Olivia Haase, who had nine digs. Darnell is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Jaime Eitemiller also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Seneca's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Jasper, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Seneca wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Diamond on the 11th. As for Jasper, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Lockwood on the 11th.
