Volleyball Recap: Davis Sr. Finds Home Court Redemption Against Granite Bay

There's no place like home for Davis Sr., who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Granite Bay Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Davis Sr. never let Granite Bay on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-22.

Isabella Garma-Murphy paced Davis Sr.'s offense, picking up ten kills. Garma-Murphy got some help from Juliana Van Boxtel and her 25 assists. Van Boxtel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Davis Sr. pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Granite Bay, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
