Football Game Preview: Towson Generals vs. City College Black Knights + How To Watch

The Towson Generals will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the City College Black Knights on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Towson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 29-20 victory over Overlea.

Omari Rowell was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 98 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

Rowell was just one part of a punishing run game: Towson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 224 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, City College got themselves on the board against Patapsco on Thursday, but Patapsco never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 48-0 win over the Patriots. The matchup marked the Black Knights' most dominant victory of the season.

The win got City College back to even at 5-5. As for Towson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Towson was able to grind out a solid win over City College in their previous matchup back in November of 2019, winning 14-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
