Basketball Recap: Forney Finds Home Court Redemption Against Royse City

There's no place like home for Forney, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Royse City Bulldogs on Friday by a score of 37-35 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jackrabbits have posted since December 6, 2024.

Forney's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-13. As for Royse City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-19.

Forney and Royse City could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Forney will face off against Longview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 327 places (437 vs. 110). Meanwhile, Royse City (ranked 430th) will meet Tyler Legacy (ranked 61st) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
