Volleyball Game Preview: Mulberry Panthers vs. Tenoroc Titans

After both having extra time off, the Mulberry Panthers and the Tenoroc Titans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tenoroc took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Mulberry, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mulberry challenged Oasis Christian on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Tenoroc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Frostproof.

Tenoroc was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24, 25-17.

Tenoroc's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mulberry, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Everything went Mulberry's way against Tenoroc in their previous matchup on September 4th, as Mulberry made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
