Basketball Recap: Clark Montessori Takes a Loss

The Clark Montessori Cougars had to suffer through a 75-45 loss at the hands of the Woodward Bulldogs.

Bryce Lively was nothing short of spectacular for Woodward: he dropped a double-double with 21 points and 20 rebounds. Jesse Wallace was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points and three steals.

Clark Montessori dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Woodward, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clark Montessori will square off against Withrow at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodward, they will challenge Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
