There's no place like home for David City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Raymond Central Mustangs on Thursday. The Scouts haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-16.

Kamryn Behrns paced David City's offense, picking up 17 kills. Behrns got some help from Kambri Andel and her 23 assists. Addison Rands controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

David City's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Raymond Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. David City will challenge Milford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raymond Central, they will head out to face off against Ashland-Greenwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
