Baseball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Chesapeake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Rock Hill Redmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 on April 7th.

Chesapeake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Muncy, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Chesapeake's record now sits at 2-12-1. As for Rock Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chesapeake will challenge rival Fairland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rock Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Gallia Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
