Basketball Recap: Grand Prairie Wins Going Away Against Molina

Grand Prairie picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 49-24 margin over the Molina Jaguars. The Gophers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 25 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Molina lost, don't look at Keirra Hunter. Despite the final result, she posted ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, Hunter is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

The victory got Grand Prairie back to even at 3-3. As for Molina, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
