Volleyball Game Preview: Cloverdale Eagles vs. Fort Bragg Timberwolves + How To Watch

The Cloverdale Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Fort Bragg Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fort Bragg will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Cloverdale extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on Clear Lake with a sharp 3-0 win.

Cloverdale was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-19.

Fort Bragg not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Middletown.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.

Cloverdale better focus on containing Alexia Huerta and Brynn Stornetta as the pair were huge in Fort Bragg's win. Huerta had 19 digs and two aces, while Stornetta had seven assists and three aces. Huerta is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Fort Bragg was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Cloverdale's record is now 17-7. As for Fort Bragg, their record now sits at 12-8.

Cloverdale beat Fort Bragg 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
