Volleyball Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord lost against Madison on October 11th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Annie Saenz paced Concord's offense, picking up 13 kills. Saenz got some help from Bradie Lehman and her 23 assists. Finally, Saenz was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Concord's defeat dropped their record down to 30-11-3. As for Madison, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 34-14-2.

Concord has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Will Carleton Academy on the 4th. As for Madison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Chelsea on the 5th.
