Basketball Recap: Atlantic Shores Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Atlantic Shores Christian was the 70-53 winner over Southern Maryland Christian Academy when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seahawks took a 75-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (61), the Seahawks still had to take the loss.

Southern Maryland Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron McGlone led the charge by going 12-for-24 en route to 30 points. Those 30 points gave McGlone a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Timothy Patton Jr, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.

Atlantic Shores Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Atlantic Shores Christian will venture away from home to take on Broadwater Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Seahawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Southern Maryland Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Annapolis Area Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
