Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain Valley Wolves vs. Creede Miners

Mountain Valley is 2-8 against Creede since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 11:00 a.m.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Mountain Valley didn't have enough. They came up short against Primero on Friday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Creede earned a 3-1 victory over Centennial last Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Miners.

Creede had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 12-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-9.

Creede's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Mountain Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
