Football Recap: Diamond Bar's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games + How To Watch

Diamond Bar dropped down to 3-6 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They received a blow as they fell 49-35 to the Los Altos Conquerors. While losing is never fun, the Brahmas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Conquerors are ranked 159th).

When it comes to explaining why Diamond Bar lost, don't look at Dominic Tortorelli. Despite the final result, he rushed for 134 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries, and also caught one score. Tortorelli's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 134 rushing yards. Zein Abdelaziz also helped out with an impressive 103 receiving yards.

As for Los Altos, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 42.1 points this season.

It was another big night for DIEGO CASTILLO, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 258 yards and three TDs. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. JOSIAH CORTEZ was CASTILLO's top target, picking up 124 receiving yards and two scores.
