Basketball Recap: Logan Takes a Loss

Logan lost against Warren back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chieftains took a 45-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.

Warren's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Pepper, who posted seven points in addition to nine rebounds and five steals. Pepper is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Danica Gates, who went 5-for-12 en route to 13 points.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Warren, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Pickerington Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warren, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Portsmouth West at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
