Preview: Pendleton County vs. Nicholas County
Nicholas County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Pendleton County in at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Nicholas County had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past Bellevue with points to spare last Saturday, taking the contest 43-27.
Meanwhile, Pendleton County had to kick off their season on the road last week, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Gallatin County 35-6. Pendleton County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Pendleton County to 1-0 and Nicholas County to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
