The home team had come away the winner the last four times Brighton and East had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Brighton never let East get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, the Bengals brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.

Josh Mawhinney tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over 4.2 innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jack Saba, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Riley Brown, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Brighton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Brighton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for East, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
