Soccer Game Preview: Erie vs. Bradford + How To Watch

The Erie Royals will venture away from home to take on the Bradford Owls at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Erie will be strutting in after a victory while Bradford will be coming in after a loss.

Erie was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Eisenhower, sneaking past 5-4. The high-scoring effort was just what Erie needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 9-2 to Meadville. Bradford were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Erie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five matchups. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Erie beat Bradford 4-2 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
