They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. Escalante was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Santa Rosa apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.
Despite the loss, Escalante still got an impressive performance from Luka Torrez, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Torrez continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Greysen Horan was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Escalante has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-10 record this season. As for Santa Rosa, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.
