Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Galway Golden Eagles, falling 19-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Knights of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Galway, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons will challenge Duanesburg at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for Galway, they will welcome Johnstown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sir Bills will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
