Tradition Prep had already won four in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They blew past the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves 72-37. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-12.

Tradition Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aydan Fields led the charge by going 7-for-10 on his way to 17 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydan Harris, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 16 points and seven rebounds.

Oxbridge Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jacob Bell, who went 5-for-6 en route to 13 points. Ty Caldwell was another key player, putting up ten points.

Tradition Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Oxbridge Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Tradition Prep will face off against Port St. Lucie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oxbridge Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Somerset Academy - Canyons at 7:00 p.m. on December 5.
