Football Game Preview: Holyoke vs. Pittsfield

Holyoke will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Pittsfield at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.

Holyoke didn't have too much trouble with Chicopee last week as they won 40-21.

Meanwhile, if Pittsfield were riding high off their 30-8 takedown of Frontier Regional two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Pittsfield found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-27 punch to the gut against East Longmeadow.

Holyoke's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Pittsfield's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Holyoke can add another positive mark to their record or if Pittsfield can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Holyoke's step.
