Elysian Fields extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping their season record down to 7-15 in the process. They came up short against the Overton Mustangs, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-4 on Tuesday.

As for Overton, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-6. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

For Overton's part, Rylan Holleman made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Holleman was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, he posted four RBI, the most he's had since back in March.

In other batting news, Bryson Bobbitt was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. He continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. Joey Zalman was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
