Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Chapelle Wins Going Away Against Bonnabel

Archbishop Chapelle won the last time they faced Bonnabel and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chipmunks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bruins.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Archbishop Chapelle took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-7.

Victoria McCann paced Archbishop Chapelle's offense, picking up seven kills. McCann got some help from Blythe Bonnaffons and her 18 assists. Avah Gilchrist controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Archbishop Chapelle's victory bumped their record up to 22-14. As for Bonnabel, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Chapelle will challenge Cabrini at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bonnabel, they will face off against West St. John at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
