Baseball Recap: Seminole Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seminole can now relate to. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Mary Rams on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rams this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-2 defeat back in March.

Seminole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Aybar, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Lake Mary, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Seminole does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Mary, they will square off against Apopka at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 3.5, the Blue Darters 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
