Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Allison Woods and Alysa Bareis Lead Barry Western to Victory

Barry Western won the last time they faced Seymour and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats skirted past the Indians 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Barry Western who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 15-6.

Leading Barry Western to victory were Alysa Bareis and Allison Woods. Bareis had seven digs and two aces, while Woods had four digs and two aces. Woods is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Barry Western was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.
