Alex Williams turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. He was dominant the last time he took on Bennett back in May of 2025, so they probably should've seen this coming. Williams has become a key player for Lamar: the team is undefeated when he posts at least ten strikeouts, but 7-8 otherwise.
