The Community School of Naples Seahawks will venture away from home to square off against the Evangelical Christian Sentinels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Community School of Naples will be strutting in after a victory while Evangelical Christian will be coming in after a loss.
Community School of Naples' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past First Baptist Academy to the tune of 49-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Seahawks considering their seven-point performance the game before.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jaden Phillips and Jayvian Tanelus. Phillips rushed for 184 yards and three touchdowns while Tanelus rushed for 167 yards and three TDs on only seven carries. Those 184 rushing yards gave Phillips a new career-high.
Community School of Naples was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 444 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Community School of Naples' defense and their five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Evangelical Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-21 heartbreaker at the hands of Southwest Florida Christian. Despite 155 more yards than the King's, the Sentinels couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Community School of Naples is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.0 points over those games. As for Evangelical Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

It's a different story for Evangelical Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 246.2 total yards. Will Community School of Naples be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Sentinels flip the script?
Everything came up roses for Community School of Naples against Evangelical Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 41-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seahawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
