Baseball Recap: Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn had won eight straight at home, but on Friday they bumped their record up to 21-10 to make it nine. Everything went their way against the Farmington Farmers as they made off with an 8-2 win. Considering the Rockets have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Farmington, they moved to 25-7 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the four games prior), but Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn's pitchers proved too tough.

For Farmington's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Crawford, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

As of now, neither Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn nor the Farmers have any future games scheduled.
