Basketball Game Preview: Clyde Fliers vs. Bellevue Redmen

For the first time this season, Clyde will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will face off against the Bellevue Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bellevue took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Clyde, who comes in off a win.

If Bellevue heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Clyde took over last week. The Fliers secured a 79-75 W over Ashland on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Bellevue ended up a good deal behind Elyria Catholic on Saturday and lost 58-39.

The win got Clyde back to even at 1-1. As for Bellevue, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Clyde strolled past Bellevue when the teams last played back in January by a score of 61-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fliers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
