Basketball Recap: Covenant's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Covenant put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Dallas Lutheran Lions by a score of 59-50. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Covenant was led to victory by Caden Jolly and Luke Thomason. Jolly shot 56% from the field en route to 25 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Thomason dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards. Thomason's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. Cade Crane was another key player, putting up ten points and seven boards.

Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Covenant will head out to square off against Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dallas Lutheran, they will take on Alcuin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
