Football Recap: Mapletown Comes Up Short

Mapletown extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were beaten by the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs 48-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Maples of the 46-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Bethlehem Center, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Enzo Brown was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 54 yards and two TDs on only seven carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Mapletown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-0 defeat against Bentworth on the 17th. As for Bethlehem Center, they have also already played their next contest, a 38-3 loss against California on the 17th.
