Soccer Recap: Malvern Prep Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Malvern Prep was not quite Kiski School's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Malvern Prep of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2019.

Malvern Prep has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-2 record this season. As for Kiski School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6-2.

Coming up, Malvern Prep will venture away from home to challenge Springside Chestnut Hill Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kiski School, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Western Reserve Academy on the 1st.
