Freedom Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Village Christian Academy Knights get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. Give the Patriots' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Victoria Bryant made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Freedom Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Melanie Multerer, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Savannah Graham was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.

Freedom Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

Freedom Christian Academy pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Village Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Freedom Christian Academy will face off against Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Faith Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.13 runs per game on average), something Freedom Christian Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Village Christian Academy, they will challenge Cape Fear Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 3.
