Basketball Recap: East Central's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

East Central can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Guthrie Bluejays by a score of 38-25.

East Central's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Guthrie, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

East Central and Guthrie could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. East Central will challenge Kiefer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 275 places (319 vs. 44). Similarly, Guthrie (ranked 388th) will meet Kingfisher (ranked 26th) at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
