Football Game Preview: Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders vs. Buchanan Bucks

The Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders will venture away from home to take on the Buchanan Bucks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Muskegon Catholic Central put up the most points they have all season on Saturday. They breezed past Oakland Christian to the tune of 55-18. The Crusaders not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13, 2024 (when they won 49-8).

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Buchanan against Benton Harbor on Friday as the team secured a 40-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bucks, who have now won four contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Buchanan's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.8 points on average over those games. As for Muskegon Catholic Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
