Basketball Game Preview: Judah Christian Academy Lions vs. Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders

The Judah Christian Academy Lions will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Judah Christian Academy is leaving town to face Cornerstone Christian Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Judah Christian Academy took a blow against UR Academy last Tuesday, falling 82-52. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cornerstone Christian Academy). They took their contest last Thursday with ease, bagging an 84-51 victory over Victory Christian Academy. The Crusaders pushed the score to 76-37 by the end of the third, a deficit the Patriots cut but never quite recovered from.

Judah Christian Academy better keep an eye on Davin Fuller. He was instrumental in Cornerstone Christian Academy's win, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 24 rebounds. Fuller is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Konner Shearman, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.

Cornerstone Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.
