Volleyball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Pinnacle Classical Academy waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Challenger Firebirds. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Firebirds back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Pinnacle Classical Academy was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-12, 20-25, 25-19, 15-4.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinnacle Classical Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Brown, who had 15 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Brown has posted since back in September. Gracie Mode was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.

Pinnacle Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Pinnacle Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Challenger, the loss snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 13-2 record.

As of now, neither Pinnacle Classical Academy nor the Firebirds have any future games scheduled.
