On Wednesday, St. Patrick faced St. Stanislaus in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The St. Patrick Fighting Irish fell just short of the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws by a score of 2-1. The Fighting Irish's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Michael Baty, who's now up to 28 this season.

St. Patrick's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-4-1. As for St. Stanislaus, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

St. Patrick will host Southeast Lauderdale at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Patrick's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Southeast Lauderdale's offense will have their work cut out for them. St. Stanislaus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
