Football Recap: Maricopa Takes a Loss

After flying high against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy last Friday, Maricopa came back down to earth. The Indians were dealt a 60-14 defeat at the hands of the Valley Christian Academy Lions on Thursday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Valley Christian Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

As of now, neither Maricopa nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
