Baseball Recap: Mossyrock Comes Up Short

Mossyrock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Napavine Tigers, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Wednesday.

Mossyrock's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Napavine, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mossyrock is set to take on their familiar foe Onalaska at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Napavine will square off against rival Toledo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.4, the Riverhawks 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
